4-digit passcode not an option

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We can see that you'd like to change to a 4 digit passcode on your iPhone 11, but are unable to do so because the option is not available.

From what you've described, it sounds like you could have a device management profile installed that requires a longer passcode for security. To check, go to Settings > General, then look for a 'Profiles' or 'Profiles & Device Management' option. If you don't see this option in Settings, then no device management profiles are installed on your device.

Is it possible that this device is managed by a company, or you have a company Exchange account on the phone? If so, they can restrict those types of settings.

In both the Settings app on my Apple Watch 5 and on my iPhone 12 (also running iOS 14), if I go to Passcode then BEFORE I tap on Change Passcode, there is an option "Simple Passcode" to turn on or off the 4 digit Passcode. Perhaps you have to turn the simple passcodes there BEFORE you use the Change Passcode.

Other option would be to Turn Passcode Off (which will probably require you to enter either the current Passcode or your Apple ID and then turn Passcode back on and see if it gives you the option to use the Simple Passcode.

Perhaps because you currently have a 6 Digit Passcode is why it is not letting you just change to the 4 Digit passcode.
