iPhone 12 not receiving group texts

my 12 , does not have a reply box at bottom of group text, I get it but no subject line to reply to. I can start new string with same people and their seems to pick up where it left off original group see me but I have 2 different strings to go back and forth to work, see it incoming on original and reply back to my new group in order to interject words.

I am also having this problem, I’m not getting some messages in group texts and also missing texts from individuals.. I just switched from AT&T to T-mobile and upgraded to an iphone 12pro. I called apple and they told me to do what was equivalent to banging on the side of a television, but that did not correct the issue.

I just switched from Android to iphone12. THis is a nightmare. Not getting messages from any android contacts. FIX THIS. I've been reading it's been going on for months now. PLEASE FIX THIS SOOOOOON!

I got an iphone12 Pro in January. Was having issues not receiving random texts in group text chains. I thought it was resolved. Yesterday I found I didn’t receive another text in a group text chain so still happening. Very frustrating with no solution to the issue and no way to replicate since it is random.

I’m on iPhone XS Max, running iOS 14.5. Although, this issue has been happening for a while (probably when 14 launched.) Only in the green SMS conversation with 2 Android users and 2 other iPhone users.

I’m with AT&T on a sim.

I have T-Mobile on eSIM, but that line is currently suspended.

I had guessed that maybe that’s causing the issue, or that sometimes people’s phone sent to my suspended number.

But apparently it’s something else.

Yes same here. In a group chat with 2 others and very frustrating to be missing texts and have them not get all my texts either. Fix the problem apple.

I’m having the same issue. I have the 12. It has happened a handful of times - very frustrating!

I’m having the same issue on multiple group SMS message chains. Husband also got the new iPhone12 and is on the same chain but getting more of the messages. It doesn’t make sense!

Having this issue as well, in two different group texts.

I am missing text messages. When I send the message out - it goes though however I am not receiving it.

Same issue...iPhone 12 Pro...missing texts. I have AT&T....curious if others have same carrier or a different one?

First, have you ever tried to get a carrier to do anything?

Second, based on this thread ever major carrier is having the issue.

at some point apple has to look at the least common denominator.

Also happening on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and wife’s iPhone 8. All updated to most recent IOS
