I connect my Win10 laptop to TV via HDMI to watch AppleTV+ and until tonight it's been fine, however it's suddenly stopped working. As soon as I plug the HDMI cable in the streaming on the laptop stops and the screen turns black. It happens in both Chrome and Edge browsers and when running AppleTV+ as an "App". Amazon Prime works fine. Wondering if Apple have suddenly disabled something!??
Hello GraMcD and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty mirroring your screen from a Windows PC when it involves Apple TV+ content.

At this time, the only officially supported way to mirror any Apple TV content is via AirPlay which is limited to mirroring amongst Apple Devices and some smart TVs.

Many thanks for the reply. It would make sense, but doesn't explain why it worked ok two weeks ago and had been ok since I started to do it a few weeks before that? Does this imply a recent change to AppleTV+ functionality?
