Print Shop
I upgraded my MacOS to Catalina and lost all access to my Print Shop 3. Is there any way to retrieve that data? There is presently no Print Shop upgrade in 64-bit.

Your Print Shop files were unaffected by the Catalina upgrade, but your Print Shop 3 application is 32-bit, and will not run on Catalina, which requires 64-bit applications. If you have another Mac (before Catalina), or a Windows PC, I suggest that you run Print Shop 3 on those choices.
This issue has been going around for some time now. It appears that Print Shop is no longer going to support the Apple OS, and has not for some time now. There are other, more full featured apps available which do the same things and more. One you might check out is Swift Publisher. It is a desktop publishing program. It does have a one time fee, though. I have read, but have not confirmed, that it can open Print Shop files. I hope this helps.
I'm currently still running Mojave. I bought Swift and have been trying to move my old Print Shop projects into it so I can finally upgrade to Catalina. Right now, I'm copying and pasting from PS4 into Swift one project at a time. Do you know any way to do faster? And, while we're at it, I'm guessing there are a LOT of Print Shop users out there that are having these issues. I'm not very tech-savvy so this might be a dumb question and - if so - please forgive me BUT Is there any way we can unite and get one of the companies involved (MacKiev - Broderbund - Apple) to write a patch so we don't lose our old work? I've been designing cards for over 20 years on PS - was able to move projects I created on MicroSoft to Apple without issue. It kills me to lose them now.
Although it can't read Print Shop files an alternative to Print Shop is Affinity Publisher. You can download and try the free trial version.
I have neither. Thanks anyway.
