How come the MagSafe charger is so slow when charging the iPhone 12 Pro?
I also brought the MagSafe charger for my iPhone 12 and at first it worked flawlessly and wasn’t too slow at charging then at some point it really slowed down to the point where I’d wake up after putting it on charge in the night and it’s barely gone up. Or sometimes it won’t even charge it at all. And it seems like so many people are having this problem.

Hi allanofca,
Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with the MagSafe charging your iPhone 12 Pro.
This article will provide tips to get the most out of your charger: How to use your MagSafe Charger with iPhone 12 models
"Get up to 15W faster wireless charging
The MagSafe Charger is designed to quickly and safely wirelessly charge your iPhone 12. The system intelligently adapts to conditions in order to optimize charging iPhone 12 at up to 15W of peak power delivery for faster wireless charging. The actual power delivered to the iPhone will vary depending on the wattage of the power adapter and system conditions. For iPhone 12 mini, the MagSafe Charger delivers up to 12W of peak power delivery.
It's important to plug into a power source before placing your iPhone on the MagSafe Charger. This allows MagSafe to verify it's safe to deliver maximum power. If you happen to place your iPhone on the MagSafe Charger before plugging into a power source, simply remove your iPhone from the MagSafe Charger, wait three seconds, and then put it back on to resume maximum power delivery.
The MagSafe Charger is designed to negotiate the max power up to 9 volt (V) and 3 amp (A) with a USB PD-compatible power adapter. MagSafe will dynamically optimize power delivered to the iPhone. The power delivered to the iPhone 12 at any moment will vary depending on various factors, including temperature and system activity.
All power adapters have different ratings for amount and rate of power delivery. The MagSafe Charger requires the following ratings to deliver faster wireless charging."
Have a fantastic day!
I also have the same problem and in the beginning it worked perfectly and was not very slow in loading, so at some point it actually slowed down to the point of taking over 12 hours trying to load all day. Or sometimes it doesn't even load. And as already found out many people are having this problem! I paid dearly for a product that is said to be premium and that's not what I found!
And it's even worse coming from a company like Apple, I know most things are not usually the best value for money but you can at least expect premium quality an flawless functionality. It seems like they've rushed it out. I have switched back to it instead of my cable because that charges it way too fast and that will deteriorate the battery overtime and the normal 5W plug is too slow and this is in the middle but it also makes my phone concerningly warm. At one point before, when I attached it to put it on charge it wouldn't even recognise it, I had to restart it.

I got the 12 Pro Max and it takes forever to charge with MagSafe. Very disappointed. Now I am back to the cable.
