No service indicated for call or text

why is my phone indicating no cellular service? I can not make it receive call or texts, even after update.

no cell service after iOS 15.4.1 update on iphone7 Cannot make or receive calls or texts, "no service" and message saying "an update is rerquired to use cellular data on this phone." I have used the same phone and provider in the same place for years with no problem. Multiple tries of turning the phone on and off, " Reset", "Reset Network", a visit to the local-ish Apple store, and 3 calls to my cell service provider have failed to fix this. Any help will be much appreciated.
