I would backup with iTunes and then factory reset your iPad and restore to your backup.

Thank you, both, updates and touch sensitivity problems seems to be ongoing with apple products. Lately it's been a super-slow charging (6+ hours) problem. Updates cause and cure issues. Apple just doesn't admit what is going on. They said I needed to send in m y ipad pro for repair. A new update proved that to be wrong!
