Mobile hotspot disconnects frequently

I am using my iPhone as a mobile hotspot for my Linux PC and for some reason the hotspot keeps on disconnecting frequently, which is really hampering my WFH equilibrium.

This issue does not happen consistently, some days it would work just fine and some other day it would reset like twenty times an hour. I tried troubleshooting by turning on/off Low Power Mode, keeping the screen on or eveything else that could have been done.

I am on iOS 14.1 right now, and any suggestions would be appreciated.

Two things that you can try if you have not tried them already-

(1) Reset Network Settings - Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Reset ➔ Reset Network Settings.

(2) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

The problem is the iPhone and not the secondary device because of the following two reasons.

One, I tried using a Google Pixel device connected with my iPhone and the issue persisted.

And two, everytime the hotspot turns off, the Personal Hotspot turns from Discoverable to Not Discoverable on my iPhone, and needs an entire hotspot switch off/switch on cycle to get back to work, only to repeat the issue after a couple of minutes or so.

Can you test the hotspot with another device? Instead of connecting your Linux PC, connect another device or a computer and see how that connection works. This will help you determine whether it is the iPhone's hotspot or the Linux PC.

I tried both of them separately and though it sort of decreased the frequency of hotspot turning off, it did not solve the issue.
