Cannot close Mac Pro laptop lid - Is the battery swelling or defective?
I have a Mac Pro Retina 2015 lap top. Recently I have found that I cannot close the laptop lid properly and it doesn't sit flat on a table (bottom seem to have curved). Internet forums suggest it might be due to a swelling battery. But I checked System Information and it says the battery health is normal and the cycle count is only 104. The track pad is working well but one of the speaker is not functioning well. I have never dropped my laptop, it has always been sitting on my desk on a stand.
Is the battery defective? Should I get it checked and will Apple cover the cost for a defective battery?
If it is not the battery, what might be the problem?
