Is it possible to merge two Apple ids? For reasons I can’t recall, I have two Apple ids. One is for iTunes and App Store purchases and one is for iCloud. Is it possible to merge these two Apple ids so that I can use my iCloud Apple ID for everything and not lose the purchases I made under my iTunes Apple ID?

If your normal password is working, can you just use that? Are you having to sign in with both passwords? Has it been awhile since the support session? That may be a special password that will expire.
It has been well over a year. I just need one password for I tunes and another for the rest. But I moved to Germany since and want to change location and I am afraid I will lose downloaded music.I was hoping to use the same password for all the functions, just as it was before I had that session with support.
You can't merge Apple IDs. You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
