I am trying to share a video from Mac to YouTube, something I used to do routinely but suddenly can't do anymore (however, I haven't tried for a while). What am I missing?

You now have to upload videos thru you browser when on the YouTube site:
If you want to upload to YouTube you have to format the data per their instructions and you have to upload the data in accordance with their procedures. YouTube is not an Apple product.
Good point!! I have attached some screen shots. This is actually just an audio recording but when I could't share it, I tried to share an actual video clip but got the same messages. Hope this helps. If not, please let me know what you need. Thanks for your help!!
I have actually never seen that before! I have added the link to my favourites. Having said that, I tried to upload my clip but it said it was an invalid file format. So my next question is, can you help me with that?
But, also, having said that, from the screen shots I sent you, why can I not share it through that method? From my internet search, it kind of indicated that that was the way to do it?
Yabut,as long as the change makes things better, I am good with that......and the internet gives accurate information on how to “do the new”.! I probably spent an hour trying to figure this out by searching the internet. The next time I have a conundrum, I am going to come directly to you guys! Thanks for all of your help over the years!😁

Without you telling us what you are doing, how you are doing it, and what happens when you try we have no idea what you are missing.
Now it makes sense. The clip I was trying to upload to YouTube was just an audio clip and YouTube didn't like that. I recorded a video clip and used the "Channel Dashboard and it worked perfectly. You are so smart! Thanks so much for your help!! Do you as much about "everything Mac" as this? I have found in recent years, in my opinion anyways, that Mac has become less "user friendly". Everything used to seem so intuitive and now it requires a technology degree to do everything. Nothing seems easy anymore.
