using sharepoint from a MacBook Pro

Are there any useful "manuals" anywhere giving guidance to using Sharepoint from a MacBook. For example saving files, documents and images from emails into sharepoint (File> Save as in Windows speak) and the reverse ie accessing documents which are saved in a sharepoint

To share files served by a Windows share point, you need only make the share point appear on your local network, and provide login credentials .
