This message first popped up this morning. I went to settings, name phone number and emails, there was an i in a circle next to my gmail account- it couldn’t verify so I deleted it and now I can’t add it back it says invalid email address.
the message is still popping up and I don’t know how to stop it. I don’t even have an outlook account so I don’t know where this coming from.
please help!

Delete all your microsoft (hotmail etc) accounts and add back
Personally I use Gmail app for Gmail and Mail app for normal well-behaved email accounts.
Does the message go now you have deleted the G account? It makes no sense if you have no Outlook.com or Hotmail account.
Oh shoot I do have a Hotmail account but it’s working fine- it’s my Apple ID, it was my Gmail account they couldn’t verify.
and I did download the gmail app so I can still check that email easily. I even shut the phone off and turned it back on, and updated the software and when I opened my mail the same alert popped up :(
