Question about charging iPhone 12 Pro Max in a dock that served an iPhone 11 Pro Max

I bought a dock to hold and charge my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Can I charge an iPhone 12 Pro Max on that dock? Or do I have to charge it by means of a magsafe charger?

You can still use a wired charger. It's may not as fast but they will work.
