I am getting a pop up message every 10 seconds that the HP drivers for my printer are malware. What can I do to stop this and correct the drivers?

Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345)
You need to (1) update your system with the fix then (2) delete and redefine the printer.

Thanks, but I do know how to do it. According to HP community group I now need to reload OS.
Almost 200 comments about it on hp.com's community site.
Not as much here in Mac land.

You might not need any drivers. What model HP devices are you using? The exact model designation please.
