How is the upgrade programme going to work now in England for the 12 Pro Max when that goes on pre order on the 6/11. With all non essential shops having to close. I can see the Apple stores being shut.

I'm not sure what you mean, on that date you will order your upgrade online. If your local Apple Store is not open for pickup you will need to have it shipped.
