Only one accessory at a time???

What is this? Today all of a sudden my iPhone is banging in my hand saying “only one accessory can be used at a time”. It won’t stop. What’s going on Apple?

If you didn't do a forced restart after doing the update, you should.

Since you don't say which model iPhone you own, see the following for directions:

iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPod touch (7th generation): Press and hold both the Top (or Side) button and the Volume Down buttons until you see the Apple logo.

You are not talking to Apple here, you are talking to other iPhone users.

What are you doing when this occurs? Charging your device?

If so, have you tried a different cable and/or charger?

Apple isn't here, so Apple doesn't know you're having an issue. This is a user to user only forum. What Accessory are you trying to use?

Thanks for letting me know this is just a forum. I plugged it into my car like I do all the time for charging. Nothing changed from before except a software upgrade this week.
