hello apple support community,
i used to back up my contacts on icloud, however i had an issue couple of days ago my iphone 11 pro 64gb got stuffed with no space to operate i had to go to apple authorized center in Cairo, Egypt to get a new software, when i opened my iphone i didn't find any of my contacts neither on my device nor on icloud.
First make sure you understand what iCloud actually is as right now you have wrong idea of it. iCloud is not a backup service. It allows to sync data to every device on which you are signed in to the same account. You delete data on any device or at iCloud.com at data is gone from everywhere.
