Apple Music not showing subscribed when I signed up for Apple One

I signed up for Apple One on an iPad but Apple Music on my iOS devices (same iPad and two iPhones all same Apple ID) isn't showing I'm subscribed... it asks me to sign up for a 3 month trial. macOS is fine and shows I'm subscribed. Anyone else have this problem?


it has been a few hours and I tried rebooting the devices and signing out/in.

Through trial and error, the only way to fix this is on each device that shows an Apple Music trial, go to purchase the service but do not double-click or thumb-print to confirm. Cancel out of the purchase and magically it recognizes the Apple One Music subscription.
