I’m getting constant popups that say Cannot verify server identity. The identity of imap-mail outlook.com cannot be identified. I have tried rebooting my phone . I also deleted my yahoo and hotmail snd iCloud Accts and then added them again. Nothing has worked. Can anyone help me solve this issue? I’m unable to use my phone because it pops up so frequently. Thanks so much! I have the iPhone SE.
What happens when you click the "Details" on the error popup message (See the Pic below)
Best would be to Delete and Add the email account that is creating the issue.
You may also try changing SSL settings
Settings > Password & Accounts > [Select the Mail account} > [Tape on Account with the email ID} > Advanced > SSL Settings > [Disable]
Click <Account (in Blue)
Click on DONE (in Blue) when exiting in the previous screen
Hi! Thanks so much for your help! First of all the popup I receive is saying “ The identity of imap-mail.outlook cannot be verified@. I don’t have an Outlook account. I did delete and add back my yahoo, hotmail and iCloud accounts but that didn’t help. Second thing is I also don’t have a setting that says “Password and Account”. I only have one that says “Accounts”. It only had a Password setting on my SE phone. Any other suggestions?
