why doesn't spotify app reinstall on my iPhone 6s

some of my previous apps won't reinstall on iPhone 6s. Still ok on iPad and mac. Apps include Spotify and Twitter

It sounds like it's getting stuck in the download and install phase.


First, check and make sure that there is enough room on the device to install apps. If necessary, delete some items and then try again.


If there is enough room and the issue continues, try updating your iPhone to its latest compatible version of iOS. It looks like you indicated you're using an iPhone 6s with iOS 11. Your phone is compatible with iOS 14. Use these steps to back up, then update. Then try to download the apps again.


If possible, try using a different Wi-Fi network if there is one available and see if that works. Do the following as well:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time. Make sure this correct for your region and time zone.
  2. Temporarily disable any VPN software on the iPhone and try again.
  3. Go to Settings > [your name] > Sign Out. Then sign back in and try again. Please note that doing this will remove any downloaded music if you're an Apple Music member.


If that doesn't work, then reach out to Apple Support for additional assistance: Get Support
