Hi there
Have just purchased a new laser jet printer and I am trying without luck to download the HP smartapp for desktop onto my macbook pro. I get to the app store, click "Get" and "Install" and it literally brings me back to the "Get" prompt again. Am running OS Catalina 10.15.7. I cant seem to connect to the printer unless I get this app apparently. Thank you for any and all advice.

Try downloading the app from HP's support website.

Try a different wifi network; office, library, coffeeshop.
Thank you - apologies I should have clarified this - I am attempting to download from the support website which directs me to the app store - the link brings me to the app store but wont download unfortunately. Thank you for trying to help me I appreciate your time.

I tired this also -I tried across a number of options and it does the same thing unfortunately. Click Get and then install, it twirls around for a bit and then goes back to Get - frustrating
