Mac drive filling up

I have a 2017 macbook pro. A week ago i tidied my mac pro hard drive, had 40 gb free. Today it said it was full, couldn't save etc. Though i deleted a bunch more files, and the trash successfully emptied, the drive just refills instantly. Can't run first aid or do much if anything else now. It's too slow and full. Tips?

continuously decreasing disk space on macbook Hello there, I have the following problem and I hope for some help: My macbook´s disk space continuously decreases down to about 40-80mb. I deleted some files to create about 10GB free disk space. It worked for like a day but it was still decreasing. Now it went down again to 40mb. After a restart there is only 3GB space available. And after about 30 minutes it goes down to 40mb again. Does anyone have a clue how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Losing Disk Space Rapidly for No Reason? My 2014 MacBook Air is rapidly losing gigs of hard disk space for no reason. Even when I close all programs and create new space by deleting old files, I lose space within a few minutes and then get the warning of having run out of disk space. Restarting did not work. I have also paused Google Drive and stopped the syncing there. Any clues on what the problem may be and what I can do?

I don't know what happened but after hours of problems, the computer not even booting, all of a sudden it's working again and there's 60 gb free. Not sure if it's connected to trying what u suggested... But thank you!!!!
