Multiple apple TVs - which as home hub?

One device will become the connected home hub and the others will register in standby mode ready to take over if the first one is turned off for some reason. I believe whichever device connects to the network first becomes the active hub. I don't think you can set any particular preference, nor should it really matter.

In their settings you can stop using any of the ATVs as a home hub and this would force the remaining one to be a hub. However there doesn't seems to be a way to do this with Homepods.

In any case, as turingtest2 indicates, the system has some redundancy if more than one device is a hub.
