My iphone 12 is disabled because too many failed attempts. My iphone was backed up to the iCloud but many photos did not get backed up and I don't want to restore to factory settings. I know my latest password. Is there a way to enable it again with my recent password.

If Photos, Messages and Contacts are synced to iCloud then you will be able to retrieve them after setting up iCloud on your iPhone after you reset the passcode and sign into iCloud.
