I've lost my iPhone and now have an android phone. My old iphone has been blocked and I can't send messages by text. How can I deregister my iPhone number so that I can use my Samsung number

how can I activate my samsung sim card when I don't have my old phone or old sim card to hand ?

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Deregistering I don’t have the phone or the sim..I got a new phone and sim. And same number. Do I need to deregister my number? Will it unlink it on my current phone as well? Both are iPhones the old iPhone was destroyed but the SIM card went “missing” just wanted to make sure if it was put in a iPhone that it could link to my current Device thx mike
