Deregistering

I don’t have the phone or the sim..I got a new phone and sim. And same number. Do I need to deregister my number? Will it unlink it on my current phone as well? Both are iPhones

the old iPhone was destroyed but the SIM card went “missing” just wanted to make sure if it was put in a iPhone that it could link to my current Device

Deregister your number if you no longer have an iPhone. If your replacement cellular phone is an iPhone with the same cellular carrier and telephone number, you don’t need to deregister.
