Hi everyone! I'm interested in getting an iPhone 12 Pro Max, when available. Saying that, I would like to know if any of the Apple Pencil generations are, or would be, compatible with the new iPhone models? And yes, I understand it is for iPad so far but, would enjoy using it with my iPhone at some point. Thank you for your time. :)
Hey everybody! No need to debate about a writing tool for the iphone.
Any cheap dollar store stylus works on an iphone for signatures, sketching and navigation.
this one was 8.99 for two through Amazon.
Apple products look nice but they are a company, lets not make them a cult!
any rubber tipped stylus works, no need for $150 “Apple” pencil.

As a photographer I often need photograph signatures for releases. I agree, it would be great if I could just pull out the Apple Pencil to use on release forms.
I use a pencil on the iPad Pro , great , I am able to transfer to files, from nomad, forger, adobe fresco, procreate, LumaFusion to my iPhone. Great software made for us , Great hardware made for us. I need a pencil for this work! Pro software, pro iPhone. You could make me very happy with a pencil. Thank you, your customer.
Oh ok, sorry. Yeah I didn't know he hated that idea. Doesn't make any sense to me, a stylus for the iPhone seems to be the next logical step. Should have been done years ago with all the applications for graphic design, note taking, and even games. Hope to see one soon.
Just to put this out there, the Apple Pencil is not, a stylus. We replaced the stylus with multi-touch gestures but, the Pencil is used for jotting down or sketching on the device. Different uses all around. Not the same. Just so you know.

So as you know, as of today, there is no Apple Pencil support for any iPhones.
However, there's a lot of 100% unofficial buzz about a new black one coming out for the iPhone 12.
I tried with my finger to write on my Iphone 12 pro max and it is working very nicely.
When was the pencil suppose to be released? Did anyone say that? I know it’s unofficial buzz but did not know if someone said a day possibly!
