iPhone 12 Apps look bigger?

I just bought my new iPhone 12 Pro, upgrading from the XR, and I noticed that apps such as Instagram and Snapchat appear a lot bigger than what it would appear on my XR. In-app icons and text and all other GUI appear much bigger than I would like them to, does anyone know how to go about changing this?

Hey coolz202,

Congrats on the iPhone 12 Pro! It's definitely important the icons and text are the size you prefer. Let's see if what the display is set to, and check the "Text Size" settings while we're there. Tap Settings > Display & Brightness. At the bottom, is "View" set to "Standard" or "Zoomed"? If it's set to "Zoomed" change it to "Standard" and that should help with the app icon size. Then let's go back to Settings > Display & Brightness" to check the "Text Size". Make the necessary adjustments here, then go back to your Home screen to check the app icon and text size to see it's more what you expect. Here's a bit of information about both settings:

Change the font size on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Magnify the iPhone screen with Display Zoom

Let us know how that goes.

Cheers!
