iPad not compatible?

Well, if your model cannot support the latest iOS/iPadOS versions, perhaps some apps cannot be downloaded/installed/updated.

Look at the back cover of your iPad, there should be a model code "Axxxx" (where xxxx are four numbers).

Read it and post it here, so that we can identify your iPad model.

You have an iPad 2nd generation (A1395), which cannot support iOS versions beyond 9.3.5/6, because of hardware incompatibility.

That said, many 3rd party apps require more recent iOS versions. That's why you can install or update them.
