EQ on iPhone

The EQ on Apple Music seems to do nothing to reduce deep base “thumps” (most noticeable on Homepod) such as you hear on news broadcasts on NPR through the NPR app or TuneIn Radio ( which simply patches in the npr program). Is there an Equalizer app that can actually control low frequency response on music and audio on TuneIn Radio?

Apple Lossless Music to Stereo Receiver Looking to stream music at Apple's highest sampling rate however we seem limited with the iPhone using a Lightening to HDMI converter at the Receiver input. This conversion throttles the sampling rate to 24 bit/ 44.1 KHz ALAC. Are there wired alternatives for the above that support higher Apple lossless sample rates ? iOS 15.1.1 update - volume muting itself while listening to Spotify in the car Since I upgraded to iOS 15.1.1 while I am in my car using Bluetooth to stream Spotify every few minutes it will turn my phone volume all the way down. Sometimes it does it more, sometimes less. I’m seeing frequent problems with airplay for others- but nothing about issues with it self muting.
