Songs didn’t move to iPhone 12

Question

I just bought a new iPhone 12 and transferred from my iPhone 6plus but my songs did not move. How do I fix this? Thanks, Jim L

If the songs were sync'd from a computer to the 6 then you will have to do the same to the 12.

If they were purchased from Apple then they can be downloaded, provided you are using the same Apple ID.

Albums should all be there and songs have a cloud symbol when you open Music
