My wife has an icloud storage plan, I just linked her to my family shared Apple one plan, how does she start using my icloud stoarge? when we go to downgrade her storage to the free it gives us a warning message that data would be lost. I have confirmed she has accepted the invite as it shows her in the settings.

Are you certain she accepted the invite to the Family Sharing for iCloud storage?
Yes. she is able to use all the other services on the apple one.
How do i stop using my own subscription and start using the family shared?
