Creating gantt chart in Mac numbers

I am trying to create a gantt chart using start date, end date on my ipados14 numbers using 2-D stacked bar graph. the start date is coming fine however the end date is coming wrong. Pls help me figure out the problem. I am attaching the image of the table and graph.

Defining the X-axis data in a Numbers Chart The absolute OS isn't the issue, as this problem existed in Big Sur and still in Monterey. I have a Numbers spread sheet, 4 columns of information/data. I chose one column of data, select the chart type and it plots that data as the Y-Axis. I can't seem to select a different column to add to the chart to use as the X-Axis data. I can select the data, but Numbers keeps adding it to the Y-Axis messing up the data range and not providing the correct presentation. i.e. - Measurement (Y) vs Date (X) is shown as Measurement (Y) AND Date (Y) with the X-axis undefined. Why? Is there some place I can right click or make a choice to change what data set is used for which axis? So far I haven't found it.

Issue with 2D stacked bar chart with dates (gannt chart) Hi, I would like to highlight the following problem I experienced on Numbers version 6.2.1 (6529) running on a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) with Mac Os Catalina 10.15.3. I hope that someone can help me. I would like to create with Numbers a so called Gannt chart, highlighting the time span of several projects. Refer to the attached image for the following details. I inserted 2 tasks, each having a "Start" and "End" value as dates. I also computed the time interval by using a simple difference (column "Duration"). Then, I used a 2D Stacked Bar Chart in order to plot the "Start" values and, on top of them, the "Duration" value, just like in Excel. However, the plot doesn't show the values I am expecting. The start dates are correct (I added the label so that you can compare them in the attached image), however the end dates are not: just look at the X axis and compare the end of the green bars with the original data in the table. For example, Task 1 ends on "30 May 2020", however on the chart it ends around December 2021. So the questions are the following: Why the chart does not display the green bars spanning the exact amount of time I am expecting and how can the correct plot be obtained? Minor question: why the minimum value on the X axis is not the same I am setting under the "Axis Scale" section? For example, in this case I inserted the value "1/1/2020" as minimum value. The X axis range has changed, but not in the way I expected. Indeed, the min value is "13 Jun 2018" on the chart. The same behaviour is related to the Maximum Value of X axis, which does not change accordingly to what I specify. Hope someone can help me. If you need some additional information, let me know.
