Text Message Notifications

Since the last update, (11 Pro), there's not badge notification or sound indicating text messages. How can this be restored?

Do you happen to have an Apple Watch? Notifications would go to the Watch if the iPhone is locked. See this for additional troubleshooting steps for notifications, Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Have you gone to Settings>Notifications and check the settings for Message notifications? Are these all Messages, or just selected individuals. If selected, check to see if Hide Alerts is turned on.

Thanks, I have. Notifications are on and it's for all messages. I've turned them off, powered off/back on and reset. Still no badges/alerts.
