Alarm Icon missing
Normally when I set my alarm there is a small icon on the top right of the screen indicating that it's on, but it no longer shows up.

The space in the top status bar is limited with the notch on the newer iPhones. To ensure that your alarm is on, you can swipe down from the upper right corner of the screen to bring up Control Center. If the alarm is on, the icon will appear near the battery and battery percent icon.

Even when doing that it still doesn’t show an icon for an alarm at all next to battery. No matter what there’s just not an icon anymore after the latest update. The only way to verify it’s set is to open clock app itself and see that one is active or ask Siri if it’s set but other than that there’s no longer an icon that appears in any way next to battery showing that one is active.
Here is a screenshot from my iPhone 12 with an alarm set. The icon appears just as described.
On the right side, there is alarm icon, location icon, battery percentage and battery icon.
As described it’s not there for me.
It used to show just like yours and now after this most recent update it does not show.
I would restart the iPhone. If that does not help, then force restart the iPhone. Last ditch efforts are to create a current backup and restore to that backup, or restore to factory, set up as new, then test. If it is functioning correctly then, go ahead and restore that current backup.
