Catalina OS - Running Microsoft Teams issues

I just changed to Catalina OS and have encountered problems running Microsoft Teams. I cannot share the screen recording. Sometimes restarting works sometimes not. I wonder if the problem can be fixed or if I need changing to older OS

How to get Teams to work with Catalina With MacOS Catalina the ability to use Teams is almost non-existent. Teams consumes so much CPU that my 2017 MBP overheats and drains the battery inside of a 45 minute call. The application has been removed and reinstalled multiple times and even on a brand new Mac with nothing else installed. microsoft teams not launching Hi - I'm on an Apple M1 Max w/ 64 GB ram running Ventura (13.3.1). I've installed Personal Microsoft Teams. When I click on the icon to open it, it doesn't open or I get an error message that it has unexpectedly quit. I've tried everything I've read online - Clear cache, clear keychain values, reinstall, reboot, etc etc. Contacted Microsoft and they tell me to contact Apple. Web version works fine but I want to use the application while I work, not the web version. I have a solid IT background having built computers, etc since the late 80's. I've tried all the tricks but can't seem to figure this one out. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas what I can do next? Thank you!

Unable to change Microsoft Teams status on Mac Mini M1 with Big Sur (MBP Intel is working fine) I'm unable to change the status in MS Teams on my Mac Mini M1 with Big Sur 11.3.1: status remains unknown. Status of other members are also unknown. My MBP Intel is showing the right status, I can also change the status, and I can see the status of other members as well. Any idea? Uninstalling Teams, rebooting, etc. doesn't solve the issue. MS Teams version 1.4.00.8872
