how to restore phone using itunes

My iphone XR won't let me open any apps, see my phone calls, or turn it off and back on. It's like it's frozen but I can still see notifications pop up on the screen. HELPPP ME PLEASE? What should I do?

Phone is unresponsive Hello my iphone Xr will let me open the phone and apps but not let me interact with them. I have been trying to restart the phone but it won't let me. I have tried multiple restart options. Does anyone have any advice?

phone won't reset and the phone freezes when I go into apps. My iPhone won't hard reset and when I go into apps my phone freezes. When we plug it into the computer says respond with phone to continue but when the notification pops up I press trust but computer says, can't connect to phone.
