Extra email address

I have several email addresses for different purposes. On my iPad, there is now another that I didn’t set up. What could this mean? How can I get rid of it? It doesn’t appear on my computer.

Email accounts are added and removed from iPad Settings. To remove an email account from your iPad:


iPadOS13 and earlier

Settings > Passwords & Accounts > [email account] > Delete Account


iPadOS14

Settings > Mail > Accounts > [email account] > Delete Account
