How to fully remove Alexa App from my iPhone (6s model)?

Having been advised to download and install the Alexa App from Apple App Store, but now I no longer wish to use it, and have disposed of the Amazon Echo Speaker it was intended for. Apple Support explains how to remove Apps, but each time I try the only options are either "Share App" or to move it from the Home Screen to the App Library, and/or move it back from the Library to the Home Screen. Please can anyone tell me how to remove the whole Alexa App permanently. Surely there must be a workable solution that actually gets rid of an App? I've Signed Out of the Amazon Alexa App, and it still doesn't allow me to remove it fully.

Hi QuickTimeKirk,

Thanks, that was very quick. I've already tried that several times following reading the Apple Support Instructions to the letter. However, it still only lists moving backwards and forwards from the Home Screen to and from the App Library. The only other option listed is to Share the App. I followed your advice very carefully, but the Alexa App remains stuck on the iPhone in each case. The minus reveals the same limited options (as above) when I clicked the screen (not an icon). Am I missing something please?
