I was told that all the two will be successful and I need to reboot the phone to the factory settings !! I cry .. there are my memories .. there is my vacation with my family .. all our photos and videos .. it's not fair! I don’t know that you can’t fill in the phone! I was not warned! why am I suffering now ?? I want to return only photos and videos of my family, this is dear to me! but I don’t know that the apple that I have been using for 11 years can do this to me! I want you to help me get my photos and videos back!

I understand, but you have probably had months to back it up. Stuff happens, that’s why Apple provides several ways to back up or sync photos and other content. But they can’t force you to use the tools they provide (there’s a story involving horses and water that could be inserted here). While this particular problem is the result of storage filling up, you would be in the same position if your phone was lost, stolen, dropped in a toilet or thrown under a bus.

Are you sure you didn’t do ANY of these ways of preserving photos?

  • iCloud photo sync
  • iCloud backup
  • iTunes backup
  • Transfer your photos to your computer via USB cable
  • Apple Photo Stream
  • Sync to Google Photos
  • Sync to some other photo archiving service such as Shutterfly
  • Sync to Dropbox
  • Sync to box.com
  • Sync to Microsoft OneDrive
  • Sync to Amazon Photos
  • back up to Livedrive
  • Backup to any other backup or archiving service
  • Emailed or texted the photos to friends or family

If the answer is no to all of the above your photos are gone forever.

I have possible the same problem. I stored the first photo’s of my Son only on the iPhone without a recent Back Up.

Due to the fact that the memory was to full a software corruption happened. I have send the iPhone for data recovery towards the uk and contacted specialized data recovery companies in USA.

their reaction:

This is a common problem with iPhones which usually occurs when the memory gets near full which somehow corrupts the OS putting the phone in a boot loop. We have seen this issue many times before, but have never been able to fix them for data recovery.

Your best bet is to wait for Apple to address this issue and come up with an iOS update which can potentially resolve this error.

not something we can fix for data recovery.

apple, are you planning to do is?
