The IMAP command “APPEND” (to Drafts) failed with server error: Server Busy. Please try again later.

This issue started today, out of the blue. I just updated to Catalina 10.15.7 Any advice on how to turn this off? - John

Hi there John,

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with saving draft emails on your MacBook Pro, and we'd like to share a resource that can help.

Check it out here: Save draft emails in Mail on Mac

Specifically, this note may help:

"For Exchange and IMAP accounts, drafts are stored on the mail server (unless you select a mailbox on your Mac in the Mailbox Behaviors pane in Mail preferences). As soon as Mail syncs with the mail server, your drafts are available wherever you use that account. To sync the drafts immediately, choose Mailbox > Synchronize > [account]."

If the issue persists, restart your Mac, and try again.

Cheers!
