no sound is coming out of my macbook, and I've tried the solutions given on the apple website, but there's just nothing coming out. I haven't knocked it on anything and it's only a couple days old. Only been doing this the last day or so. Any suggestions?

Try Reseting the Core Audio:
Typing the following command in Terminal:
sudo killall coreaudiod
no sound coming out of macbook
