This disk is used for Time Machine backups

Hi all! I need an advice about macOS that mention


cannot download macOS High Sierra into hard disk because it said " THIS DISK IS UESD FOR TIME MACHINE BACKUPS" Could it mean I need to reformat the hard disk again? lastime I use time machine to back up using this hard disk before.

If it has been reformatted for time machine backups, then reformat the drive back to its original state. You should always use an external drive or iCloud to backup your computer, never use the built-in hard drive to do this. Here are the steps to do erase your disk and reformat it: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208496. Hope this can solve your problem!
