How do you restore an app to iphone that has been removed but not deleted?

An app was not working properly, (continuous spinning wheel) so I removed it but saved the data.

Now I am only able to open the app through the app store. I've still got settings for the missing app but no way to delete or restore the app to the home screen.

Gone through all the settings I could think of.

Thanks.

Go to the last Home Page, swipe right to reveal App Library. Find missing app, hold and drag it left back to Home Page.
