My phone was run over by a car

Phone ran over by car and the whole screen is severely cracked and you can not see anything except for multi color lines. I hooked it up to my computer and it says offline. In order to replace they want "find my phone" turned off. I see it on my verizon account and it does not show it has that feature on. Should I erase phone if I can? it says offline though?

i want erase ipad with broken screen and find my ipad is shut off i cracked my screen on my ipad pro 11", it was still working, I wanted to send it back to Brightstar who I have a warranty with. when i called them about service I had to shut off the find my phone/ipad feature. the next day i tried to turn it on and only a black screen but working' i need to erase the content before i can send it back HELP! thanks in advance

can an iphone be erased through wifi or bluetooth? Can an iPhone be erased/wiped via nearby Wi-Fi or Bluetooth? If I set my iPhone in lost mode or erase? Thus, if I set my phone as lost or stolen can someone else’s phone send the wipe command via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to my phone even if it’s on airplane mode?
