My MacBook voice over is off but it keeps reading back my scren

ive turned it on and off and still won’t stop

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like your voiceover is turned off but it is still reading your screen. Try turning off Voiceover and restart your MacBook using these steps: Log out, sleep, restart or shut down your Mac.


Also make sure you are turning off Voiceover in the Accessibility Options in case the other method you are trying is not working: Turn VoiceOver on or off on Mac.
