Ever since the last iOS update I’ve lost the ability to send pictures to Android users. MMS is enabled, I’ve tried resetting network settings, and with iMessage turned off and on with nothing working. Had anyone else experienced this recently?
iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14
I figured it out! I went out and bought a nice photo printer plus ink and photo paper. Then I went home and spent a few hours installing it. Then I printed my photos by attaching my new photo printer to my fancy iPhone. Then I got in my car and drove my photos to my friend, who happens to have an android. He lives 300 miles away, but my boss gave me 2 days off to deliver the photos. Then my friend used their fancy android phone camera to take pictures of the printed photos and viola! The photos were magically transferred from my iPhone to their android. The future of tech is awesome.
I have full bars signal right now and just tried sending something that did not go through. I’m also on WiFi in addition to having full cell signal 4 bars
Doesn’t sound like anyone has a handle on this problem.
Agreed. At this point I’m eligible to switch phones in a month and may just move back to Android
Wi-Fi is irrelevant. MMS never uses Wi-Fi; it can only send over cellular data.
And again - 4 bars full cellular connections and WiFi both still nothing sending. Not just WiFi and not an issue for the other iPhone in the same house on the same cellular account.
It’s an issue with the OS upgrade. Go to an Apple store to see if they can fix. Took only a few mins and there was no charge. But it’s working for me now.
Of course I’ve tried a general reset. And the issue started the day the iOS updated

Neither of those links have anything to do with software. They both are hardware failures.
Did you actually read them? The hardware failed AFTER a software update that Apple pushed out and that is why they were replacing them for people.
Sun over beach! Just worked for me as well. only one try but that is more than I have seen in years at my house.
This thread is old, but I have this problem with every android user. The picture messages never send.
Not a carrier issue, works sending picture with Cellular data on but not over wifi with cellular data off. This is an apple software issue.
I have had issues with cellular on or off. Could be a problem on both sides. Either way annoying
