Trust request error 0xE800009A

I'm just trying to connect my iPhone to my Mac.

When I click on the Trust button through the Finder I get the following error: "Trust request error 0xE800009A"

No trust this device dialog appears on the device.

I've gone through the steps here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204095 but to no avail.

Any ideas anyone?

Change your settings for trusted computers

Your device remembers the computers you've chosen to trust. If you don't want to trust a computer or other device anymore, change the privacy settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy.

If you want to turn on SSL trust for that certificate, go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings. Under "Enable full trust for root certificates," turn on trustfor the certificate. Apple recommends deploying certificates via Apple Configurator or Mobile Device Management (MDM).

Hi,

I have the same issue. On my iPhone, under the SSL settings I have 3 trusted root certificates (all enabled), which are managed by my employer's management profile. There's "microsoft intune root certification auth...", one more that named identically for the chars that I can see, and "SC_Online_Issuing". Am I expected to see any other certificate? Could my company's management settings be interfering with my possibility to connect to my private computer?

(I have reset privacy settings as per your second post, below.)
