When my Bluetooth headphones are connected and I turn the volume all the way down on my phone, why do I still hear audio? Is there a way to fix this so it goes silent when I tun down volume on my phone?

I’ve tested multiple devices for a while. It seems to be largely a problem with all Bluetooth headphones. If I reconnect the headphone multiple times, sometimes I’ll get lucky and it works. The issue is that it seems to be the same on multiple apple products but not any other eg windows laptops. Restarting the iPhone hasn’t helped.
I don’t know if this will help narrow down the issue but it seems to be an Apple problem rather than a problem with the headset in question.
Same here. I restarted and reset Bluetooth. Same thing. Annoying
I can still hear audio when the volumen is at Min using headphones.
